NCAA Week 1 Results

Week 1 picks are complete - overall pretty decent predictions made.

Dad (Gary) opened up a 2 game lead already, in just 1 week, with an astounding 12-3 record!

The only other thing we learned is if Joe Lacanlale picked it, then go against it...can he right the ship after going 5-10 when everyone else was above .500?

What was your favorite uniform of the weekend - lots of unique ones! (Personally, I liked the all-white of Boise State). Or the classic Notre Dame uniform. Not Georgia or Maryland...ok maybe Maryland's can grow - I did think it cool on TV that if you saw them from the perfect side it looked like 2 uniforms when players turned around...

Week 1(ties are in alphabetical order)
Gary McFarren 12-3
Dennis Lowe 10-5
Rob McFarren 10-5
Joe McFarren 9-6
Dusty Miller 9-6
Rachel Eggebean 8-7
Ed Vander Woude 8-7
Joe Lacanlale 5-10

Come on and join on in - the season is long! Who will keep up the hot start?

Oh - and one expert of note - ESPN's Pat Forde picked 3 upsets last week - none of which happened. Minnesota over USC (oh so close, though - good insight there!), Wake Forest over Syracuse (also close), and Murray State over Louisville (oops!). Forde has made more picks for week 2 - found here. I'm still looking for good, clean picks to compare against - I can't seem to find College Gameday's picks online. The only other picks are the Conference bloggers - but this seems a bit unequal in that they pick only 1 conference. But I'll link to some like this for comparison.
